I am looking for a way to further improve the sound quality of my system, and I hear that an EQ is a good place to start. Anyone have any experience with these? What brand do you recommend?

an equalizer won't do much unless you already have good quality products. All of the top brand company's make excellent EQ's.

AudioControl makes some of the best EQ's on the market. But the top brand names make good ones too, if you wanna spend a bit less...

90% install, 10% equipment
but to fully use a EQ you need some type of metering equipment.
